Knee pain can make even simple daily activities—walking, climbing stairs, or exercising—feel frustrating and limiting. If you’re trying to avoid injections or surgery, you’re not alone. Many people are now turning to conservative, non-surgical solutions that address the root cause of their pain.
At Cannon Chiropractic, we specialize in comprehensive knee pain programs designed to restore function, reduce inflammation, and get you back to doing what you love.
Why Knee Pain Isn’t Just a “Knee Problem”
The knee is heavily influenced by surrounding joints—especially the hips, ankles, and lower back. When these areas aren’t functioning properly, it places abnormal stress on the knee.
That’s why quick fixes like rest or medication often fail to provide lasting relief.
Advanced Non-Surgical Treatment Options
Our approach combines multiple therapies for better outcomes:
- Targeted Chiropractic Adjustments
Improve joint mechanics and reduce stress on the knee
- Interferential Current Therapy
Helps decrease pain and inflammation while promoting healing
- Cold Laser Therapy
Helps decrease pain and inflammation while promoting tissue repair and cellular function
- Rehabilitative Exercises
Strengthen muscles that stabilize the knee
- Nutritional Supplementation
Supports joint health and reduces inflammation naturally

This article is very interesting. It's been over 7 months since falling and breaking my tibia and having surgery. My only problems are some numbness/woodenness in my shin area and some minor pain in my shin when I walk. I walk, go up and down stairs, stretch and flex my legs daily and do lots of yard work, but am not seeing any improvement with the above-noted issues. I believe this is related to nerves that haven't complete regenerated from the fall and surgical trauma. I think your Interferential Current Therapy might help me and will discuss this with Dr. Minnick at my next appointment. Thanks for these articles.
